My swim to Fastnet is without a doubt my favourite swim that I have done.
Firstly, Nathan and Noel were very helpful before during and after the swim. Kieron was brilliant to have as a pilot and found some wildlife to visit on the way back from my swim making the day even more special.
I swam to Fastnet as opposed to from it and although that meant the water got choppier for the second half of my swim, I’m so pleased I did swim that way. Seeing the rock and lighthouse appear on the horizon is quite a view and I was the lucky enough to be allowed to swim around it after I’d finished which was incredible.
Baltimore is also a lovely place to stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this swim to anyone.
