My Fastnet swim in September 2024 was my biggest swim challenge to date so it was very reassuring to be piloted by Darren Collins and have the Fastnet Swim crew of Noel and Bre onboard supporting my own crew of Paul and Ethan.
I’d crewed for Ger Devin in 2023 on his Fastnet swim so I had a bit of an idea of what to expect on the day. My first swim window was weathered out, but things came right for us on the next neap tide and we had perfect conditions for the entire swim from the slipway in Baltimore out to the Fastnet Rock Lighthouse.
I highly recommend the team at Fastnet Swim and this is a really fantastic and iconic swim for any long distance swimmer to take on.
