Carol Commons Fastnet Swim

The fastnet swim was the most magical swim I ever took part in, the most beautiful scenery in the world.
The Fastnet rock itself was so magical, I was delighted I got to finish at the rock, even though I was swimming from warmer water to cold it was worth it, absolutely breathtaking.
The Fastnet swim have a wonderful crew of people, the nerves were taking over and ruining the experience for me but when I met the skipper Kieran, observer Garry and crew Noel they put my mind at ease and I knew I’d certainly be finishing this swim today.
Water temperatures being so low 12-10 at Fastnet, were a worry but the experience of this crew meant I didn’t notice the drop, the tea kept coming 
Nathan was also an excellent communicator before the swim.
